Detox Meal Plan to heal your body!

I have been an Eggetarian ever since my childhood. Unfortunately, I'm very bad when it comes to balancing my diet. I love all the food around me and often end up eating lot of carbs! I'm not an expert when it comes to health but once in a while I can feel my body telling me to stop stuffing in all those toxins. I really needed a meal plan to help me detox. After a lot of online research trying to find a perfect meal plan, I decided to come up with my own which suits my taste, easy to prepare with simple ingredients. For one week, I prepared all my meals (without being lazy) according to this vegetarian meal plan (below), limited my potion size, drank plenty of water and completely cut down processed sugar! Even though, I did not find much time to workout, I must say this meal plan worked wonders for my body. By the end of the week, I was lighter by at least 2 kgs and more importantly felt lot more healthier! I could clearly see my skin glow naturally!
Many diet experts suggest intermittent fasting to allow your body to detox naturally and heal itself. But I just had my regular breakfast (2 toast slices, 1 Egg and 7 soaked Almonds) everyday as I followed the meal plan for lunch and dinner. I completely cut down snacking in between. If I felt hungry in between the meals, I drank water or ate a fruit. For lunch, I mostly had salad bowls or a Quinoa bowl with veggies (based on availability) or lentils on the side. As the meals are all vegetarian, I added soaked and boiled Chickpeas, Red beans etc to substitute for the protein. For dinner, I just had a soup with some boiled veggies. The pictures below are self-explanatory! Recipes can be found easily by doing an online search. For all the recipes, I made sure I did not overcook the vegetables or add too many spices. I used herbs to add flavour to my soup instead of strong spices. I boiled or steamed the veggies as they are good to be eaten raw. I found most of my recipes on this Youtube Channel and I highly recommend you to subscribe! Her videos helped me understand the importance of a heathly diet and encouraged me to eat healthy!
